Description

This is a social and emotional education school program for teenagers aged 12 to 14 studying at secondary school. The aim is to improve the school environment to reduce bullying and aggression, while promoting students’ health and well-being.

Impact evaluations

An impact evaluation showed a statistically significant reduction in self-reported bullying victimization in students 36 months after the implementation of the program, compared to students who did not receive the treatment. The program also produced significant secondary improvements in indicators of quality of life, general well-being, tobacco use, alcohol use, drunkenness, receipt of illicit drug offers, and contact with the police [1].
