Description

This is a social reintegration program for parolees aimed at reducing criminal recidivism and readmission rates. It provides employment opportunities, substance use treatment, educational activities (math and basic literacy support), and access to housing benefits.

Impact evaluations

An impact evaluation showed that participants who received the intervention were statistically less likely to relapse: 44.8% of the treatment group relapsed versus 52.8% of the control group, which did not receive the intervention [1].
