Description

This is a community-based treatment program for prison inmates who abuse drugs, serving as a bridge between probation officers and service providers in the community. Activities offered include case supervision, urine testing, referral to treatment, and follow-up of participants.

Impact evaluations

An impact assessment showed that the program had no significant effect on recidivism after one and two years of follow-up [1].
