Barbara Caballero is an economist, graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with a master's degree in Economics (PUC-Rio) and holds the position of coordinator of the Citizen Security Observatory (OSC), of the Jones dos Santos Neves Institute (IJSN), an entity associated with the government of the state of Espírito Santo (Brazil). 

Between 2015 and 2021, Barbara has been coordinator of statistics at the Institute of Public Security of the State of Rio de Janeiro (ISP/RJ), and is currently a professor of Criminal Analysis in various public security institutions in the states of Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro.

In this video, the expert presents concepts and techniques of statistics and time series applied to criminal analysis that can support managers and security professionals in identifying and analyzing the trajectory and level of crime rates in a given locality.
