The webinar was attended by:

• Lina María Marmolejo, senior specialist of the IDB's Citizen Security and Justice team.
• Raúl Ignacio Schönthaler, lawyer of the Social Reintegration Division of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Chile.
• Lourdes Salinas Cardozo, National technical sub-director of the National Rehabilitation Institute of Uruguay.
• Daniela Barberi, Senior Public Policy Advisor at the Directorate of Criminal and Penitentiary Policy of the Ministry of Justice and Law of Colombia.
• Pilar Larroulet Philippi, assistant professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

On this occasion, the aforementioned experts presented a series of solutions found in the Social Reintegration Axis of the Evidence Bank, and some other promising initiatives that are already being implemented in the region with positive results. Different interventions aimed at reducing recidivism among adults and youth, as well as at improving the social reintegration capacity of penitentiary, socio-educational and social-assistance services were discussed.
