Description

This is a case management program for women on parole with substance use problems. The goal is to reduce recidivism, incarceration, and substance use through the enhancement of personalized services.
The program consists of case management, substance use treatment, and intensive supervision. Case managers provide assistance and therapeutic services to women, such as addiction education resources, social and emotional skills training, accompaniment to hearings, medical consultations and treatment, and extended availability. The intervention requires at least two monthly meetings between case managers and participants.
