Intensive Supervision for Persons on Probation at High-Risk of Committing Offenses (California)
This is an intervention for high-risk offenders on probation. The objective is to promote public safety and reduce recidivism and the number of individuals incarcerated in the prison system.
The program consists of intensive and strict supervision, with scheduled meetings between the probation officer and the offender, telephone contact, and drug testing.
