This is an intervention carried out in schools in Brazil with the objective of preventing drug abuse among young people. The intervention comprises 12 classes plus three workshops with parents and guardians. The classes are offered by schoolteachers over the course of a school year. It is recommended that the intervention be carried out in the 8th grade of elementary school (average age: 13 years).

This is an intervention that installs body cameras on police uniforms. The goal is to reduce incidents related to abuse of police force and civilian complaints.
The intervention requires police officers to keep their video cameras on during their shift and inform citizens that their interaction is being filmed.

It is a police program to reduce gun violence and gangs in communities with high rates of violence.

The intervention implemented patrolling by uniformed police officers in specific geographic areas. It also resorted to stricter enforcement of housing codes, public housing eligibility standards and probation conditions, as well as referral of gun law violations to federal prosecutors.

This program was designed to improve access to employment and income for at-risk young adults living in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The intervention is developed in training stages that include:
1) 300 hours of vocational or technical training, preparing young people for jobs mainly in the fields of construction and welding.
2) 180 hours of academic or basic skills training, which includes reinforcement courses in mathematics and Portuguese.

This is a program aimed at installing video surveillance cameras (CCTV) in urban centers with a concentration of nighttime economic activities and a relatively heavy traffic of pedestrians and vehicles.
The main objective is to prevent crime and disorder in the intervention areas. The cameras operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Any record of criminal activity captured by the cameras is forwarded to the police for intervention.
