This is a home visitation program for low-income, first-time mothers designed to improve family functioning. Nurse–Family Partnership (NFP) provides low-income, first-time mothers of any age with home-visitation services from public health nurses. The program addresses substance abuse and other behaviors that contribute to family poverty, subsequent pregnancies, poor maternal and infant outcomes, suboptimal childcare, and limited opportunities for the children.

This is a program to train parents and adult caregivers in the promotion of a secure attachment style with young children, as a secure attachment style is associated with better social and emotional outcomes for children and a reduced likelihood of neglect or mistreatment in parenting.
The intervention consists of information sessions to teach adults to behave in a protective way when children show distress; to follow their child’s steps, making sure they behave calmly and without distress; and to avoid behaving in a way that frightens children.
This is an intervention carried out by trained professionals to assist victims of domestic violence. The specialized team is called in by the police once the situation of violence has stabilized.
The team provides crisis management, emergency treatment, and referrals to specialized services. One week after the episode of violence, a case manager follows up on the woman/family through phone calls and home visits, complementing the work carried out by the specialized team.
This is a government program to regulate new security standards in residential construction. The aim is to reduce the risk of property crime in residential sectors, such as burglary and car theft, through the use of self-protection measures in all newly-built homes.
The main actions in this type of intervention focus on the use of burglary-certified locks and anti-theft windows in vulnerable areas of the house. In addition, a building permit is only issued once the security requirements have been met.
This is a program aimed at reducing recidivism rates for individuals who have left the prison system and are monitored electronically.
As part of the program, participants must work or study for a minimum of four hours a day. Some free time is allowed, as well as time to engage in treatment-related activities or other activities designed to improve the participant’s social situation.

This is a program for parents aged 18 to 55 with children under the age of 5 who display disruptive behaviors. The intervention is carried out in the family’s home to treat and prevent disruptive behaviors in early childhood.
There are eight sessions:
1) The initial session includes program orientation and setting of treatment objectives; play between the parents and the child is observed and rated on the quality of the interaction;
2) The second session consists of reviewing the results of the initial session and developing a treatment plan;
