Early Pathways

This is a program for parents aged 18 to 55 with children under the age of 5 who display disruptive behaviors. The intervention is carried out in the family’s home to treat and prevent disruptive behaviors in early childhood.
There are eight sessions:
1) The initial session includes program orientation and setting of treatment objectives; play between the parents and the child is observed and rated on the quality of the interaction;
2) The second session consists of reviewing the results of the initial session and developing a treatment plan;

Arkansas Center for Addictions Research, Education, and Services (Arkansas CARES)

This is a long-term family support program. Families are monitored in their homes by a trained professional and are linked by means of referrals from healthcare services, which provide care for pregnant women or women with young children who are involved in community treatment services.
The program encourages maternal and child healthcare, early childhood education, mental health care, parent training, and vocational training.

Families First

This is an intervention program for families of children aged 0 to 17 who are at risk due to family conflicts, neglect, abuse, involvement in crime and/or exposure to behavioral problems. The aim is to empower parents through parenting skills training and reduce child maltreatment.

Promoting First Relationships (PFR)

This is a program for parents and/or caregivers of children from zero to three years old aimed at promoting safe and healthy relationships between parents and their children.
The intervention is carried out through standardized home visits, which entail:
1) Videotaping the interactions between the caregiver and the child to provide information about real-life situations and help parents reflect on the child’s underlying needs and how these needs affect the child’s behavior;

SafeCare©

This is a program for parents of children aged zero to five who have been reported for neglect/abuse. The objectives are to prevent child maltreatment and abuse, and improve children’s health, development, and well-being.
It offers structured training in parenting skills, such as home safety, parental supervision, and health-related decision-making. Trained professionals carry out weekly home visits to the family, lasting between 18 and 20 weeks, and teach parents how to have positive interactions with their children, keep their homes safe, and improve their children’s health.

ParentChild+

This is an early childhood program to promote parent-child interaction and positive parenting with the goal of improving children’s cognitive and social and emotional development. The program focuses on supporting families and empowering them to prepare their children for academic success.

Families in Action

This is a Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program aimed at increasing school attendance and improving health and nutrition in early childhood. The program focuses on the country’s poorest population, more specifically 20% of the most vulnerable families, who are identified and selected according to the System for Identifying Potential Beneficiaries of Social Programs.
The program serves 2.6 million families in Colombia’s more than 1,100 municipalities. It began by focusing on small, poor, and rural municipalities, but was eventually expanded to the entire country.

Foundations of Violence Against Women (VAW) Online Training Course

This is an online training course for professionals who intend to work with victims of domestic violence. The aim is to train future workers to better handle situations involving women who are victims of violence and to encourage welcoming and individualized support.
The course is based on intersectional feminist approaches and covers various topics, such as ethics, decision-making, mental health, risk assessment, and protection planning. The program is free and lasts four weeks.
