Green Dot Intervention Program

This is an educational program for the prevention of sexual violence aimed at high school and college students. The aim is to reduce sexual violence in schools and universities by raising awareness of the signs of sexual violence, identifying sexual aggressors, and promoting reporting by witnesses of sexual violence, as well as direct intervention to stop the aggression whenever possible.
The program also encourages students to foster a proactive attitude against sexual violence among their peers with the intention of boosting a new culture in the school community.

Enough! Preventing Child Sexual Abuse in My School

This is an interactive online training course for the identification, management, and prevention of sexual abuse cases in childhood. It is aimed at educators and school staff who work with elementary school children. The aim is to address the fears and factors that prevent education professionals from identifying and intervening in cases of sexual abuse.
The course’s approach consists of presenting virtual scenarios in which the signs of sexual abuse are ignored by teachers, as well as multiple choice tests. The course can be completed in one hour or in three 20-minute sessions.

TakeCARE

This is a sex education program for high school and college students. The aim is to reduce sexual aggression and increase witness reporting.
This is a brief intervention carried out using audiovisual activities transmitted online. University students follow the self-administered activity model, while high school students are accompanied by the school staff.

Red Light, Purple Light!: A Self-Regulatory Intervention

This is a social and emotional program developed at school for children aged three to five. It aims to improve three executive functions: working memory, attention, and inhibitory control.
Games are played in 15 to 20 minute sessions twice a week for eight weeks to complete 16 games, and are repeated in different sessions, with instructions guided by the teacher. The activities allow the children to practice self-regulation skills in group situations.

Project Northland

This is a school-based program to prevent alcohol consumption among adolescents aged 12 to 18. The intervention lasts six years and starts in the 6th grade of elementary school, implemented in two phases:
1) The first phase provides activities for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders through training to communicate to parents about alcohol consumption; how to deal with peer influence and normative expectations about alcohol; and understanding methods that produce changes in programs and policies related to this substance;

keepin' it REAL (kiR)

This is a school program to prevent drug abuse among adolescents. The intervention is carried out in the classroom over a period of two to three months, addressing six aspects:
1) Communication competence and its ethnic variations;
2) Narrative-based knowledge to improve identification with the prevention message;
3) Different types of social norms (personal, insulting, and descriptive) as motivators in substance use;
4) Training in social life skills and their fundamental role in risk assessment and decision-making;

Cognitive-Behavioral, Group-Mentoring Intervention for Children with Emotional and Behavioral Disturbances

This is a school program that adopts a cognitive behavioral approach to increase the ability of adolescents, from the sixth to the eighth grades, to control their emotions.
Two strategies are applied: cognitive-relaxation coping skills and social skills. Students learn relaxation and attitude change methods, as well as how to use those skills to control feelings of anger.
