Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT)

This is a therapy program for children aged three to ten with emotional, behavioral, or relational disorders.
The program follows a structured protocol developed by trained mental health professionals. It uses play techniques and games, enabling a consistent therapeutic relationship and a safe environment where the child can experience empathy and full understanding in order to process internal experiences and feelings.

KEEP SAFE

This is a psychoeducation program for girls between the ages of 10 and 12 who are in alternative residential care systems and for their foster families. The objective is to prevent emotional problems and risky behaviors, such as drug abuse and involvement in crime, among others.
The intervention is carried out in 12 group sessions, six for the girls and six for the parents. In the adolescent group, participants learn to set goals, maintain positive relationships with peers and adults, and develop decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Hamilton County (Ohio) Ignition Interlock Device Program

This program consists of installing ignition interlock devices in motor vehicles to measure the driver’s alcohol level before starting the car. The main objective is to prevent a drunk driver from operating the vehicle.
The program is aimed at offenders who have previous drunk driving charges or chronic alcoholics. The intervention consists of a device that connects the vehicle’s ignition system to a breathalyzer, which is programmed for continuous repetitions while the car is in operation.

Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device Program (Illinois)

This program consists of installing ignition interlock devices in motor vehicles to measure the driver’s alcohol level before starting the car. The main objective is to prevent a drunk driver from operating the vehicle.
The program is aimed at offenders who have prior drunk driving charges or chronic alcoholics. Participants must pay all costs associated with this program (an indigent fund is available) and are legally allowed to drive only vehicles that have a device installed.

Residential Student Assistance Program (RSAP)

This is a drug abuse prevention program for high-risk adolescents between the ages of 13 and 19 who are in institutional care.
It consists of four components:
1) Preventive education: held in eight group sessions (8-10 adolescents) to discuss the consequences of substance use, family problems, and stress;
2) Individual assessment: to determine the level of substance use, substance use in the family, and the need for additional services;

Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program

This is a program to prevent risky behaviors and teenage pregnancy. The objective is to break the cycle of poverty, reduce teenage pregnancy levels and unemployment, and prevent drug abuse.
The program initially works with children as young as 10 years of age and monitors them until high school completion and college enrollment. The intervention is carried out as an extracurricular activity in schools or is included in the curriculum, and seeks to develop children’s ambition and goal-oriented planning.

Boys and Girls Club – Project Learn

This is a program to improve the academic performance of adolescents between 10 and 14 years of age in situations of social and economic vulnerability. The program seeks to increase students’ interest in education and develop academic skills to improve academic performance.
The weekly curriculum of the learning project includes:
- 4 to 5 hours of discussion with adults of reference in their areas;
- 1 to 2 hours of creative writing;
- 4 to 5 hours of leisure reading;
- 5 to 6 hours of homework completion;
